Children Petersburg 2021: online

International Festival Children Petersburg annually presents the Northern capital key projects in the field of esthetical education for children.  Having started in Berlin in 2010 our festival has already gained its young audience from Vienna, Prague, Turin, Rotterdam, Tel-Aviv, Madrid and Nice.  The program of the festival is rich with musical, artistic, dramatic, and educational events. It is for the second year already that Children Petersburg exists within the framework of the virtual reality extending its borders and creating friendly relations between the youngest spectators from different cities. We have 300 000 new spectators who have joined the festival since 2020.

This year our young audience will not only be able to watch the performances but also will help to build an ideal theatre with stage decoration for the digital performance of the Minecraft game. They will try their hand in illustrating St. Petersburg alphabet and will have an online tour around museums of the city on the Neva River.

Professionals from the field of Culture, Inclusion and Education will take part in four online round tables. These are “Children libraries topical programs for families”, “How to create an inclusive environment at your platform”, “Modern market for private cultural projects for children”, “Museum programs for children”.

All the festival events are available for children with hearing disability.  This program includes masterclasses on sign singing and pantomime workshops performed by the “Theater of Silence”, the State Museum of History and Religion tours on the sign-language. The broadcasting of all the performances will be provided with the sign-language interpretation.
