The “Petersburg Theatre Seasons” is a snapshot of all the brightest that happened in the culture of the Northern capital over the year: performances of different genres and trends, lectures, exhibitions. During 13 past festivals, 27 St. Petersburg theaters met with spectators from Prague, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Marseille, Milan, Athens and many other cities.
During the pandemic, the festival switched to an online format in order, despite the physically closed borders, to maintain communication between countries and remain a “theater window to Europe”. The online format also opened up new opportunities – for the first time, “Petersburg Theatrical Seasons” became available to residents of Russian regions.

The aim of the Culture Online Award is to encourage cultural institutions that are actively introducing online technologies into their work, as well as significant projects in the field of culture, carried out using the latest information tools.
